Robert Garza

ADVOCATE FOR PARENTAL EQUALITY & PARENTAL RIGHTS REFORM

Robert Garza is a dedicated advocate for parental rights and equality in family law, driven by his own personal experiences navigating a 15-year custody battle and defending against more than 43 false CPS allegations. These challenges sparked Robert’s mission to reform the family court system to better serve the interests of children and families. He has since become a respected voice in legislative advocacy, spearheading the passage of Texas’s SB-718 “Time Taken Time Back” bill, which restores lost parental time due to precautionary court actions. Signed into law on Father’s Day 2023, this bill has become a symbol of hope and progress for countless families and is effective statewide as of September 1, 2023.

A regular speaker on the national stage, Robert shares his insights and experiences on fatherlessness, false allegations, and family court reform at events like the CPAC Fatherhood Roundtable and Capitol Hill discussions, where he has engaged with figures such as Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton. His advocacy has also led to media appearances on platforms like Dr. Phil and features in the Epoch Times, where he sheds light on the need for family law reform and the impact of outdated statutes on children and families.

Robert’s commitment goes beyond public speaking; he co-executive produced the documentary I Stand with John and is featured in We the Parents, both of which raise awareness about the injustices in family court. His work has taken him to over 40 states, lobbying for national family law reform, including federal support for the “Time Taken Time Back” bill and the proposed “3 Strike Law.”

As the Director of Texans for Judicial Accountability, Robert leads initiatives to promote CPS and judicial reform in Texas. He also serves as a board member of the John Mast Foundation, working to protect children from parental alienation, and as an administrator for Dad Talk Today, where he oversees a large support community for parents facing custody battles. Through his roles, Robert continues to advocate tirelessly for change, driven by his unwavering commitment to parental rights and child protection.

Carey Ann George

ADVOCATE FOR VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE & CHILD ABUSE

Carey Ann George’s journey through the family court system began as a personal battle for justice and the safety of her children. As a survivor of domestic abuse and a devoted mother, Carey Ann faced unimaginable challenges when her rights as a parent were undermined. Despite clear evidence of abuse, her children were placed in an unsafe environment, and she endured systemic failures that left her voice unheard. These experiences not only took a toll on her family but revealed the urgent need for reform within the family court system.

Through years of navigating courtrooms, filing motions, and standing up against injustice, Carey Ann encountered other parents with similar struggles. This connection to others facing the same obstacles inspired her to channel her pain into purpose. In the midst of her fight, she met Robert Garza, a determined advocate for family court reform and other activists advocating for change. Together, they began working to expose the systemic issues in the family court system and create pathways for change.

Carey Ann’s personal experience illuminated a common thread: countless parents and children are subjected to an inequitable system where professional misconduct, bias, and lack of accountability often take precedence over the best interests of the child. Motivated by her own hardships, Carey Ann joined forces with Robert and a team of passionate parents to raise awareness and advocate for legislative reform. Their mission is to ensure that no parent or child has to endure the trauma of being failed by a system meant to protect them.

Today, Carey Ann continues her advocacy work, sharing her story to inspire others and amplify the call for a family court system that values fairness, transparency, and the well-being of children above all else. Together with Robert Garza and a growing community of allies, Carey Ann is working to transform pain into progress, creating a future where justice prevails for families everywhere.
